A long-term invitation for aligned partners

Mayacamas Ranch was acquired in 2006 by David and Betsy Levy with a long-term vision: to create a place where nature, purpose, and group potential could meaningfully converge.

For over a decade, the land hosted tens of thousands of guests — from wellness practitioners to social impact leaders — before the 2017 Tubbs Fire irrevocably altered its physical form.

Rather than rebuilding what was lost, the fire revealed a deeper opportunity: to reimagine the land’s role for a time of planetary and social urgency. The focus shifted from restoration to regeneration — ecological, cultural, and human.

Three Expressions of the Land

The land is being placed into a long-term stewardship framework through Rock Creek Institute, with governance developed over the next four years to ensure enduring purpose, integrity, and care.

A design and media studio is emerging in parallel, serving as a platform for sense-making, creative inquiry, and collaborative responses to complex global challenges.

Through select partners in residence, the ranch currently hosts intimate gatherings and creative work — offering a living preview of what this place is becoming.

This website serves as an introduction for a small number of individuals and families being personally invited to participate as founding steward partners.

Access to detailed materials — including governance, design direction, and investment structures — is available through the secure partner portal.
